Botswana Safari Holidays – a Peculiar Name

The phrase “Botswana safari holidays” sounds odd to the western ear, we expect to hear “Botswanan” or maybe “Botswanian”. At the Mighty Fine Company we have intimate experience with our resorts, which is how we know that “Botswanan” is a word made up by British journalists. The correct term is “Botswana” which can act as both a noun and an adjective, as in the phrase “Botswana safari holidays”.
